Plainly dear ones let me hear

The cause of your sorrows; Don't steer
The chariot of woe and its ills bear
Alone, If I could I'll tear
The string that twines your joy.

Be calm, composed and clear,
The Mind, you have to steer
To seek the truth of the self, erase
your fears about death's fierce
Race over body, by your own will indeed.

Be victorious over the rushes of elements
Free from the evils of material attachment
Dwelling constantly on the Self
With a firm resolve and Mind
Well balanced, reach the goal !
